0:00:13 Tansy Rodgers: Welcome back to the Energy Fix, where we are diving deep into this crystal series, helping you to learn how to explore the healing intersections between body, mind and soul, soul and energy. Through the helpful work of crystals and understanding each chakra, we’re going to be working from root all the way up to crown and really allowing you to dive into a deeper experience, allowing you to flow and to understand that you can start wherever you are at. And that is perfectly just fine.
0:00:53 Tansy Rodgers: Now, in this crystal series, even though we are talking each week about one of the chakras, I just want to make note that I am not going deep into all the ways that you can manage and balance and heal the chakras. Rather, I’m focusing on some of the key points so that you understand what is going on in that chakra when it is balanced or when it’s out of balance, and then what kind of work you can do in order to work with the crystals specifically.
0:01:23 Tansy Rodgers: Specifically, that are my highlights. Each week, I am highlighting three different crystals to help you understand which ones I love to use, but then to also learn how to put them into action so that you can be fully immersed in the crystal experience and also have an understanding of how to actually work with them, not just know about them. That’s important here. Now, if you’re new to this podcast, if you are new to my world, welcome.
0:01:53 Tansy Rodgers: My name is Tansy Rogers, the owner, the founder of Be you Complete and Be you Crystals. And I am absolutely in love with bringing all things health and wellness and spirituality together, merging them into one beautiful box of tools, and allowing you to be able to step in and choose the tool that you need to work with at any given moment. And crystals are one of my favorite tools. Now, today, we’re going to be dancing all around the sacred waters of your sacral chakra, the energetic home of your creativity, your sensuality, and your full permission to feel, to desire, to express, and to come home to what makes you truly feel alive.
0:02:47 Tansy Rodgers: Now, like I said, this is week two of our crystal series, and I’m calling this the Evolution of self. I feel like as we dive into talking all about the sacral chakra, you’ll understand why it’s really this whole evolution of who you are. Now, if you’ve missed week one, I would recommend going back and starting there, because there we laid the foundation with the root chakra. But this week, we’re moving up and in into that beautiful, luscious, delicious orange glow of the sacral chakra. You know, when I do crystal healing work and I am working in somebody’s energy field.
0:03:30 Tansy Rodgers: So often when I’m over the sacral chakra, depending on how somebody may be balanced or imbalanced, I get this delicious feel of like a juicy orange. And I see and I. I experience the sweet of it. And every time I think about the sacral, that’s what I think about. I think about the juice, the sweetness of our life, that creation, that delicious desire. And so in today’s journey, we’re going to be talking about what that truly means.
0:04:06 Tansy Rodgers: That awakening of your creative flow and that reclaiming of your emotional truth and really helping you to find that sacred pleasure without apology, without guilt, without the old conditioning that says it’s just too much. So if you’re ready, I’m ready, and we’re going to dive in. Here we go. Now, the sacral chakra, it is located just below the navel. It’s the seat of our pleasure and our play and our creativity, our emotional body.
0:04:42 Tansy Rodgers: And it is the second chakra. And like I said a little earlier, its main color is orange. Now, while the root anchors us into survival, the sacral invites us to feel our way through life. I always say when I’m explaining chakras that this may not be totally correct, but it just helps to paint a picture. It helps to paint a visual and understand when you’re looking at the big pictures of all of the chakras together.
0:05:15 Tansy Rodgers: I always say to my clients, the sacral chakra is a lot like the feminine side of us. So the solar plexus is more that masculine energy. The sacral chakra is more of that divine feminine. And so when we think about that, we’re talking about the creativity, the intuition, the rest, the relaxation, the mothering, the inner knowing. That is where we’re really. Oh, the birthing, right? The birthing, the creation process. Like, that’s where we are really sitting when it comes to the sacral chakra.
0:05:48 Tansy Rodgers: When balanced, this chakra supports emotional fluidity. So you feel your feelings without actually getting stuck in them. It supports creative confidence. So if you think about your ideas flowing and you’re trusting your inner unique voice, you’re allowing the creation process to come out in whatever way it needs to be, be expressed. This chakra is also supporting your sacred sensuality, your connection with your body in a way that’s rooted in presence, not in shame.
0:06:26 Tansy Rodgers: And then, of course, this chakra is all about relationships, the healthy relationships, the ones where you honor your needs, your desires and your boundaries and intimacy. Now, when this is balanced, this is how the chakra looks, things are flowing, the creativity is flowing. Creativity is abundance. Your emotions are more fluid, your relationships are healthier. You have this beautiful sensuality and sacredness between you and your body’s connection.
0:07:05 Tansy Rodgers: But when it’s blocked or imbalanced, you may experience things like guilt around pleasure. You may have creative blocks or burnout. You may have some emotional numbness or hypersensitivity, maybe issues with intimacy and trust and codependency, or maybe it’s showing up physically for you and you got some chronic pelvic pain, some reproductive issues, or maybe some lower back tension. I so often see in my energy healing sessions when somebody has that lower back strain, tension, tightness, pain, and they come to me and say, oh, my low back, it’s really hurting me.
0:07:51 Tansy Rodgers: Almost always the sacral chakra needs extra support and balancing. And that can come from a multitude of reasons, but very often that happens. I often see here too, the inner child. So many times in sessions, the inner child pops up at this sacral point. And when it’s blocked, the inner child may need a little extra healing connection, a little bit of extra understanding, maybe some time spent in play, allowing yourself to soothe the inner child, wanting her to know that you’re there to support her, or maybe just ask her, what do you need?
0:08:36 Tansy Rodgers: How do you need to be supported? How do you need to play? This is a really good opportunity to work with that energy energetically. The sacral is all about fluidity. I want you to think water here, water. When it comes to the sacral, water needs movement. And when this chakra gets stagnant, it’s usually because we’ve been taught to suppress emotion or to deny desires, or even to believe that pleasure has to be earned, that it’s not just something that we are ultimately innately born with, that we ultimately innately deserve.
0:09:21 Tansy Rodgers: Typically, when this area is blocked, those other emotions start to pop up. And that’s where the stagnantation really becomes a huge issue. But I want to ask you this. What if your desire was truly divine? What if your emotions were these beautiful sacred signals instead of weaknesses? What if you allowed yourself to see or feel your body, your energy, your life, your relationships, your connection as that?
0:10:01 Tansy Rodgers: How would that change for you? What kind of emotions comes up when I say that? If those emotions feel tight, if it feels triggering, if it feels like it provokes some trauma or wound memories or feelings, this may be a really great indication that this is an area that needs to have some support. Now, thinking about support, one of the things that I love, and we’re going to get into this a little bit later.
0:10:38 Tansy Rodgers: One of the things I love specifically for the sacral chakra is doing journaling work and allowing yourself to connect with the inner child, to connect with your divine feminine, to connect with the energy that comes out of that rooted sacral that so many people, especially in our society, really struggle with. Connecting and allowing to flow the creativity and the rest and the intuition and knowing that it is okay to flow through life.
0:11:14 Tansy Rodgers: Right. This is one area that gets tripped up so quick. And so journaling is a great way in order to help open that up. And we’re going to be talking about that in a little bit. But besides that, let’s talk about our beautiful crystal allies, our beautiful pieces of gemstone support that I love working with when it comes to the sacral chakra, number one, Carnelian. This is really your creative ignition switch.
0:11:47 Tansy Rodgers: It’s a stone of fire. It’s a stone of vitality, a stone of action, a stone of passion. Carnelian is like this beautiful warm sunrise in your energy field. It really stirs that passion and that creativity, that longing, that knowing. It awakens motivation. It helps you to trust your voice and your vision. Whenever I’m working with Carnelian, I feel this swirling energy of passion that feels very vulnerable, but yet unrestricted.
0:12:28 Tansy Rodgers: I hope that makes sense. Like, I feel like the passion, like it helps to break down the walls of where I’m trying to control too much. It’s an amazing stone when you’re starting a new project or that you need some creative momentum, maybe when you’re trying to reclaim your sexual or your sensual energy. And especially Carnelian is amazing, especially when you’re healing from emotional trauma that made you really feel like you’re just not enough.
0:13:02 Tansy Rodgers: It’s bold orange color resonates directly with that sacral chakra and brings in that courage to help you move from feeling to actually doing. Now, one of the ways that I love working with Carnelian is by using a simple, small, tumbled stone, or even like a small slab, and placing it just below my belly button during meditation or while I’m journaling. Now, if I’m working with Carnelian for the day or for the week or however long I’m working with it for, I can just pop it into my pocket.
0:13:42 Tansy Rodgers: But this makes a really great opportunity for you to couple that journaling or that meditation practice together. As you breathe, try imagining the warmth gently starting to melt any fear of failure or shame around your desires, or even blocks around being too much or not enough. Placing it onto that area right below your belly button is a great way to connect with the stone, but also to help melt away these fears.
0:14:21 Tansy Rodgers: You can also wear it on a belt line pouch or maybe keep it in your pocket. Like I said, I love keeping it in my pocket throughout the day, especially when I’m doing creative tasks, because it’s such a great way to spark that creative flow and that bold self expression. All right, let’s go into stone number two. And for this one, I am pulling in moonstone. So I love moonstone because typically, traditionally it’s more connected to the third eye, but because moonstone helps you to really connect that divine feminine, it makes it perfect to connect into the sacral chakra as well.
0:15:11 Tansy Rodgers: Oh, moonstone. This crystal is deeply intuitive, calming, and emotionally attuned. Where carnelian activates, moonstone softens. It helps you to listen to the undercurrents that are happening in your emotional body, allowing you to trust your inner rhythm and connect with your cycles a little bit closely. Menstrual cycles, lunar cycles, seasonal cycles, all of it. Moonstone is great with helping you to connect with your cycles.
0:15:46 Tansy Rodgers: You can use moonstone to soothe emotional overwhelm, to cultivate compassion for your own emotional waves, to help deepen your intuition and dream work. And moonstone really helps remind us your feelings aren’t in the way they are the way they give you that opportunity to connect in and learn how those emotions can guide you most beautifully. Now, one way that I love using moonstone is in a palm stone.
0:16:21 Tansy Rodgers: And the size of the palmstone can be completely dependent on what you have. But the reason I love using the palm stone is because it has some weight and I like using that. When I’m laying down, especially right before I go to bed, I will place it over my heart area and just allow myself to feel the weight, to feel the emotional connection from the moonstone into my heart chakra and allow that to penetrate not just through the energy of the stone, but also through the connection of the heaviness of it so that I can feel more connected to it.
0:16:59 Tansy Rodgers: Now, I also really enjoy taking moonstone and putting it under my pillow at night so that it is helping to support me all night long. And if you don’t have a palmstone, that’s totally fine. You can use a tumble or use whatever it is that you have. You can even place a small sphere under your pillow and allow that to expand all of the energy in all directions while you’re sleeping. At Night. And while you’re soaking all of that good moonstone energy up into your energetic field, when you’re more receptive during sleep, it’s really about what you have most available.
0:17:36 Tansy Rodgers: This is just how I like to use it. I also use moonstone during my energy healing sessions and will often put that moonstone onto my client on their sacral area because of how it can help them to work through emotional holding patterns. It’s so powerful for inner child work and hormonal support. So if you feel like inner child work or hormonal cycle support, helping you to understand those cycles is really important for you, then placing that over top of your sacral chakra at any point.
0:18:12 Tansy Rodgers: It could be before bed, it could be in the evening. It could be while you’re meditating or while you’re journaling. Really, it just, you know, whenever you have that opportunity, that’s a great way to put that in as well. All right, let’s move into the final stone that we’re going to talk about today, and that is sunstone. I always call sunstone the joy expander because it really feels like it is expanding your happiness and your joy and the ease of accessing that deep within your heart, deep within your body and your emotions.
0:18:48 Tansy Rodgers: And one of the very many reasons of why I love Sensetone is because it brings this bridge between this emotional fluidity and embodied joy. It really carries this frequency of light and warmth and unapologetic happiness and allows you to access that a little bit deeper. Perhaps it’s the sparkliness in the sunstone itself, or maybe it’s just the energy that’s coming off of it. Regardless, I always feel this beautiful wash of warmth and happiness come over me when I work with the stone itself.
0:19:25 Tansy Rodgers: It’s fantastic for helping to clear residual guilt and shame or past life trauma around pleasure or desire and visibility, and allowing you to balance out that masculine and that feminine energies that’s within each of us. Sunstone helps to stimulate optimism and motivation after periods of stagnation and helps to support boundaries that protect your joy in all ways. You can think of sunstone as your reminder that pleasure isn’t selfish.
0:20:01 Tansy Rodgers: It’s actually essential to your overall wholeness of who you are. It’s essential to your happiness and to allowing you to be able to step into the best version of who you are. Now, my favorite way to work with it is first thing in the morning. I mean, technically, you can use it all day long. I use it all day long, but especially first thing in the morning being very Intentional. I’ll place the sunstone over my solar plexus as I set my intentions for the day.
0:20:35 Tansy Rodgers: And my intentions are something just very simple, like a few words that I want to embody for the day. So I’ll take a piece of sunstone if I decide that I’m working with it that day. I’ll take that sunstone, I’ll place it over my solar plexus as I’m setting the intentions and allow myself to feel that golden energy start to wake up my worthiness, start to allow myself to carry over into my voice, my confidence, my boldness, allowing myself to spark the fire within me so that I feel more motivation to be to embody those words for the day.
0:21:19 Tansy Rodgers: Now, if you’re sitting here thinking, all of this sounds so awesome, but honestly, I’d rather just wear the crystals because it’s easier for me and I don’t have to think about it. Know that I always, [email protected] I always have pieces that are incorporating these stones that I talk about because these are the stones that I like using. Therefore I make them readily available, like sunstone, for example. I have that in my Boundaries and Bravery bracelet that I just released. Now, that bracelet is not up onto the website at this moment.
0:21:55 Tansy Rodgers: However, I do have that over on Instagram @BeUCompleteCrystals, that you can see exactly what the Boundaries and Bravery bracelet actually looks like. But if you want to grab any other pieces to help you work with these stones in particular, head over to beuchrystals.com and you can check out the pieces that I do have up there. If you can’t find specifically what you’re looking for, please reach on out to me, send me a message, send me some fan mail and let me know I can help to hook you up with what I don’t have on the website.
0:22:35 Tansy Rodgers: As you work with these crystals, I want to take you through a little bit of a practice to show you exactly, exactly what it is that you can do in order to connect with not only these stones, but also with your sacral chakra a little bit more deeply, a little bit more intimately, and ultimately allowing yourself to heal on a deeper level. So let’s go through a little practice, shall we? For this practice, you are going to be prompted to have the opportunity to use the crystals that we talked about today.
0:23:15 Tansy Rodgers: The moonstone, the carnelian, the sun stone. So if you have them nearby and you would like to use them, please go get them now and bring them to your Spot so that you can settle into this practice. All right? If you are in a situation, an area that you are safe, that you feel safe to close your eyes, I invite you to do so. Now take a moment and just close your eyes. And I want you to begin. Settle into your body.
0:23:51 Tansy Rodgers: Whether you’re sitting or you’re lying down, just let the earth hold you for one moment. Let the earth connect to you. If you’re sitting, make sure both feet are on the ground. If you’re lying down, make sure that your arms are lying beside you, that the tension in your thighs, your ankles, your feet are relaxed. Take a slow inhale in deep into the low belly and exhale with a sigh. Again, inhale and exhale.
0:24:45 Tansy Rodgers: Visualize a soft orange glow beginning to pulse just below your navel, your sacral chakra. This is your inner well of creativity and sacred pleasure and emotional expression. Now just take that moment to visualize that soft orange glow pulsing and getting deeper and deeper below your navel. If you have your crystals nearby, or if you would like to choose just one or two of the crystals, I invite you to do so now.
0:25:42 Tansy Rodgers: If you choose to work with carnelian, you can place that right over your sacral chakra, right below your belly button. If you choose to work with moonstone, you can place that over your heart. If you choose to work with sunstone, you can place that right over your solar plexus, which is located right at the bottom of your ribcage. If you do not have your crystals or you do not have crystals at this time to work with, you can simply allow the frequencies, the imagination of the frequencies of these stones merging with your breath.
0:26:25 Tansy Rodgers: Take a moment and just connect into the stones or the frequency that you’re working with. Take a nice deep breath, coming in through the nose and exhaling out through the mouth, letting the tension release and allowing the frequency of those stones or the imaginary stones connect deeper into you. Now ask yourself gently, where have I held back my desire? Now ask yourself, where have I apologized for feeling too much or not enough?
0:27:49 Tansy Rodgers: And finally, ask yourself, what would it feel like to create just for the joy of it? As thoughts arise or emotions start to pop up, just observe them. Don’t judge them. Allow yourself to breathe through them. Allow the breath to carry some of the heavier triggered emotions or thoughts out of the body. Let your body gently move if it wants to. Swaying the hips, circling the spine, softening the shoulders, allowing your body to move in any way that it wants to move.
0:28:54 Tansy Rodgers: Let this dance become one of reawakening and moving the emotional energy through your body. It’s time to release that. And now I want you to take both hands and put them over your sacral chakra. Feel the energy coming out of that area as you take a deep breath, coming in through the nose and exhaling any energy or emotions that want to be released out through the mouth. Repeat after me. It is safe to feel.
0:29:52 Tansy Rodgers: It is safe to feel. It is safe to want. It is safe to want. It is safe to create. It is safe to create. I am more than enough. I am more than enough. I am allowed to feel. I am allowed to want. I am allowed to create. Stay here for just a few more breaths and let yourself receive. Take a nice deep breath, coming in through the nose. And one last time, exhaling out through the mouth, letting it all go, letting all of that tension and stress to be released.
0:31:37 Tansy Rodgers: And when you’re ready, gently come back. Mmm. How did that feel? Are you feeling a little bit more balanced, a little bit more calm, a little bit more empowered? Now, if you’re feeling like your energy still needs a deeper recalibration, or if you want support shifting emotional blocks that you’re holding in this chakra, I’d love to hold space for you in one of my one on one crystal energy healing sessions.
0:32:13 Tansy Rodgers: They’re really all about helping you to reclaim your radiance from the root up. You can learn more about those sessions over on my website or just reach on out to me and ask me any questions or even to schedule up a session. That’s probably the easiest way for you to get your answers and your scheduled appointment in quickly. Now to finish up this talk about connecting into that sacral, I’m going to give you a few journal prompts. Remember I said earlier, journaling for the sacral chakra is one of my favorite times to journal.
0:32:49 Tansy Rodgers: And so I want to give you a few prompts for you to come back to to work with. So, journal prompt number one. Where have I been taught that desire is dangerous? Where have I been taught that desire is dangerous? Journal prompt number two, what emotions do I censor or suppress and why? What emotions do I censor or suppress and why? And finally, last journal prompt. What would it feel like to create for just the joy of it?
0:33:36 Tansy Rodgers: Not for perfection, not for productivity, just for joy. What would it feel like to create for the joy of it? Not for perfection or productivity, just for the joy of it? Your sacral chakra is this beautiful, sacred. Yes. It is the pulse of your pleasure. It’s the birthplace of your creations. It is where the emotions meet action and become art and love and movement and truth and relationship, connection and so much more.
0:34:27 Tansy Rodgers: This is such an important all the shockers are important to to balance out and to get healthy. But this one in particular is really I feel a life force, especially for us women. So ask yourself, what would it feel like to move through life with more flow than force? And what would it feel like to create without guilt? And what’s the first small desire that you can say yes to today? What is that first small desire that you can say yes to today?
0:35:05 Tansy Rodgers: And whatever that is, I want you to take that action. I want you to take that action and move forward. If you’re feeling called to go deeper, you can explore any of my Crystal Energy healing sessions or shops. For any of the sacral centered crystal jewelry over at tansyrogers.com and beuchrystals.com you can head down to the Show Notes and grab those links for ease.
